Julie, Karl & Milly

Karl Hillier comes from a construction management background and was instrumental in the design and construction management of the winery. Karl also spends much of his time developing the export and international market exposure for HRE.

Julie Lawson is a Chartered HR Professional (MCIPD) and has a Msc in Economics. Originally from Scotland, Julie has worked as an HR Manager and Organisational Development Consultant internationally. Her key focus currently is the winery, restaurant and function centre business development, sales and marketing, and in the longer term setting up and running the management development and training centre at HRE.

Jane

Jane Gilham has a BSc in Wine Science and a BSc in Viticulture. She has over 22 years experience in the Wine Industry both locally and internationally. Jane has held positions as Senior Winemaker for several wine companies, including Angoves and Southcorp, processing wine for well know brands such as Lindemans, Seppelt, Penfolds and St Agnes. Jane has a real passion about corporate responsibility and the environment, and the role HRE can play in this.

Ray

Ray Dennis has worked many vineyards along with his wife Debs, before coming to manage the vineyard at HRE. He manages the maintenance on-site for the winery, restaurant and the grounds of the estate, applying the same dedication to this as he does the vineyard. Ray has previously managed a saw mill business and a diary/cattle farm.

We acknowledge all the hard work and contributions of past and present staff and shareholders who have taken HRE to where it is today.

Milly

And not to forget...
Milly the Golden Retriever; her passions are eating, chasing birds and hanging out around the winery in the hope she will get patted! Every good winery has a dog!
